How To Get Over A Guy That Doesn’t Love You Back || Finding You Series

This can be heart-aching hard and disappointing, but I am here to tell you that you are going to be alright and to have hope.

The first thing I have to share with you is do not let a boy define your beauty or find your value within him.

He is not perfect, we are all flawed sinners. If you cannot find beauty in yourself, no guy can find it for you.

What are you searching for? Love? Feelings? Security? Protection? Fulfillment?

That is okay, but if you are looking to men to give you that then you are looking in the wrong place. Where you should be looking to is God. His name is Jesus and He is the only man who can ever fully love you in the ways you desire to be loved.

Now I am not saying that your future husband will not be able to love, protect, encourage, and comfort you. He will, and I hope for you that he does, if that future husband is in God’s plan for your life. However, what I am saying is this: As a human you cannot find your fulfillment and completion in another human. Two sinners together do not make a complete perfect match. But with God, if you both individually seek His word and plan for your lives, amazing things can happen. Anything is possible with God in your hearts and by your side. God is the one who fulfills each individual. When God puts two broken people together who are both seeking His word, they are complete and found in Christ.

God provides an earthly companion to support, love, encourage, motive, and walk in faith together. Your future husband is not meant to pull you away from the Lord and keep you to himself, but he is meant to push you so close to God that he knows the Lord comes first in your heart and he is second.

“A woman’s heart must be so close to the Lord that he must seek Him in order to find her”

This is one of my favorite sayings that I read back when I was in high school scrolling through Pinterest after a long day.

Find a man who loves the Lord with all of his heart and finds you through God, instead of his own pursuit.

I truly hope this post encouraged you, if so feel free to leave a comment below with an encouragement for someone else and share it with all of your friends!
