“I need some good news baby, feels like the world’s gone crazy”

“Don’t be afraid, don’t let hope fade, keep your eyes fixed on the light above”

Inspiration Behind theDaydream:
We all have those bad days that make us want to cry, and sometimes we do. As Jordan Feliz says in his song, “you are beloved”. Oh man, the lyrics to this song explain so much of how we can be feeling at these times. It’s funny how within the span of just a few minutes our day can become “bad”. Whether your plans failed, your phone screen cracks, computer breaks, had an argument with your friend, or you find out your crush likes another girl, life happens and you just have to remember it is going to all be okay.

I wrote another blog post on How to Get Out the Lows and provided a comeback few-step solution to feeling better.

Music has always lifted my mood, so I included a few songs for you to listen to!

Today’s Playlist:

  • Beloved – Jordan Feliz
  • Overcomer – Mandisa
  • Good News – Ocean Park Standoff
  • Bad Blood – Taylor Swift
  • Rock Bottom – Hailee Steinfeld, DNCE
  • Malibu – Miley Cyrus
  • Mean – Taylor Swift
  • Sweet Beginnings – Bebe Rexha

“Everybody makes mistakes, everybody has those days”

I’ve always loved a good country song too…

    ‘Cause the sun’s too bright,
    The sky’s too blue
Beer’s too cold to be thinking about you
Gonna take this heartbreak and tuck it away
Save it for a rainy day

    Kenny gets me=)

Overcomer is one of my favorites! I definitely listened to it over and over on repeat for an entire hour drive when I was heading to student teach. Such a good reminder of faith!

I can totally relate to this! Just the other night there was a huge storm in my city and I woke up to find a huge tree branch had fallen on my car and caved in the hood. I had to have it sent in to get it fixed and won’t have it back until next Thursday! The whole day was so stressful and being left without a car for over a week is going to be a trial every day! Also, I’ve been obsessed with the Malibu song this summer.

Oh no, I am sorry to hear that girl! My computer crashed last week and I lost everything on it, so I had to get a new one. God worked everything out to be the best,it just took me a few days to see He had a plan all along. Trust God’s plan in this stressful situation. I hope everything goes smoothly for you, and YAY, me too!

Mean by Taylor Swift is such a great song lol. It’s so tweeny but it always makes me smile when I shout along to it in the car.
