RESPECT YOURSELF ENOUGH TO KNOW YOU DESERVE THE BEST || FINDING YOU SERIES

The best is yet to come….so wait for it. I know that may be hard to hear, but it’s the truth. As the saying goes, “the best things in life are worth waiting for”, it’s true!

Things that are just average come easy. I say don’t settle for just average, instead go for the extraordinary! Dream big because the sky’s the limit!

Know who you are as an individual and set boundaries in order to fully respect yourself, your values, beliefs, your space, your body, and your mind.

As women we should strive to respect ourselves as well as each other and not sell ourselves short. Don’t go for anything less. Instead of simply settling for something just because you didn’t get what you wanted the first time, try again. It just means keep going for whatever that goal might be because the battle is worth fighting for.

It makes me sad when I see someone settle for the first thing that came their way. because they may be afraid of losing this one small good thing that they were given. What they don’t realize is that something even bigger and better could be just around the corner for them waiting. However, they will never know unless they let go. They didn’t take that next step since they don’t want to lose the first good thing that came to them. Just remember…

“Not everything in life you lose is a loss.” -Unknown

This illustration below is my favorite example of how we view what we have verse what God has in store for us. His gifts are even greater than we could imagine.

“His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7

Remember to always TRUST GOD for He knows what greater things are in store for you.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”  Jeremiah 29:11

This verse fills my heart and mind with such peace. His plans are not meant to harm us, but to provide us with a bright future!
